Med Pearls Slow Tourism Product Creation

ATTENTION!!! DEADLINE FOR PARTICIPATION EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 15 2021

Mediterranean Pearls APS has launched a Call for Proposal for the creation of Slow Tourism products in the Italian Pilot Areas:

  • Etna-Valle dell'Alcantara
  • Sabina Reatina

in order to promote the Mediterranean as a destination for Slow and Sustainable Tourism. The call is open to Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and Incoming Travel Agencies. The Objective of this CfP is to provide technical and financial support to the most solid and innovative initiatives coming from operators willing to create new Slow Tourism products in the Pilot Areas.
All interested operators can download the documentation to participate at https://medpearls.oncat.eu/public/subgrants/3. At the same address you can register to upload the application duly completed, no later than 18.00h on October 15th, 2021.

This Call for Proposals (CfP) is launched in the framework of the European Union ENI CBC MED Med Pearls Project with the objective to set up a network of 26 Slow Tourism products across 6 countries in the Mediterranean region. Med Pearls project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Neighbourhood Instrument cross-border cooperation program “Mediterranean Sea Basin” 2014-2020 (ENI CBC MED). It started on 1st September 2019 and has a duration of 36 months (until 31st August 2022). It counts on an overall budget of 3.015.132 EUR, which are co-financed at a 90% rate by the ENI CBC Med programme.
