Updates from the Preview Project

During the Salamanca meeting, the PREVIEW working group used the Design Thinking Methodology to come up with a Service Blueprint for a new Remote Internship Service tailored for students on internship or placement. The blueprint outlines the phases of the service from the moment the user gets in touch with the system to when he or she leaves it. These include Awareness, Interest/Decision, Onboarding, and Internship/Execution/Performance, each with mapped activities and related services provided by the university or company involved. The "touchpoints" through which students interact with the university or company have also been specified for each step.

Currently, the four university partners of the Preview Project (Universidad de Salamanca, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi, Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti, Università degli Studi di Sassari) are organizing several Focus Groups. The aim is to present the Remote Internship Blueprint to local administrative and teaching staff, students, company mentors, and HR managers to collect feedback, comments, and suggestions. Furthermore, a survey on students and graduates' needs and expectations for high-quality remote internships will be launched shortly.
Based on this feedback, the Preview Project work group will meet in Naples at the end of May to propose the final Remote Internship Blueprint to be discussed with CNR ITD for technical development of the platform.
