GeoTours Guides comes to Italy

Transnational Cooperation Mediterranean Pearls NGO, the Italian partner of Erasmus+ GeoTours Guides, is organizing an Infoday in Fluminimaggiore, Sardinia, the pearl of the Mediterranean, to present the project to Sardinian stakeholders. The event enjoys the patronage of Regione Autonoma della Sardegna and Parco Geominerario Storico Ambientale Sardo.
The goal of the project is to provide skills on thematic geological tours to environmental hiking guides interested in the topic, and to increase their capacity for promotion on digital platforms. The training package includes skills related to online tour branding (digital, marketing, networking), as well as a course dedicated to specific geological itineraries and related theoretical information.

As a prerequisite to this, the partnership, composed of partners from Cyprus, France, Poland, Slovenia, Malta and Italy, is identifying the training needs of the target group and the geological routes in each partner country that will serve as practical exercises during the training course. The training course will then be made available as a free educational resource on a specially designed online platform.
